- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add yogurt and warm water to the dry ingredients and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 1 hour.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Flatten each ball and place a generous amount of shredded cheese in the center.
- Fold the dough over the cheese and seal it, then roll it out again into a flat naan shape.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each naan for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter before serving.
