Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in the frozen peas and half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the rice is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
