These Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are loaded with gooey cheese, crispy pepperoni, and a golden crust—perfect for snacks or parties!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Pizza Bombs:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade pizza dough)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
  • Prepare the Dough: Separate each biscuit and flatten into a round shape. If using pizza dough, roll it out and cut into 2.5-inch circles.
  • Add the Filling: Place 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough round. Add 2-3 mini pepperoni slices on top. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
  • Seal the Pizza Bombs: Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch tightly to seal. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush with Seasoning Mix: In a small bowl, mix olive oil or melted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Brush the top of each pizza bomb with the mixture.
  • Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling inside.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with warm pizza sauce for dipping

Notes

  • Seal tightly to prevent cheese from leaking out.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt quality.
  • Bake on a preheated baking sheet for a crispier bottom.
  • Customize the filling with mushrooms, olives, or jalapeños.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes for best results
