For the Pizza Bombs:
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade pizza dough)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
- Prepare the Dough: Separate each biscuit and flatten into a round shape. If using pizza dough, roll it out and cut into 2.5-inch circles.
- Add the Filling: Place 1 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough round. Add 2-3 mini pepperoni slices on top. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
- Seal the Pizza Bombs: Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch tightly to seal. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with Seasoning Mix: In a small bowl, mix olive oil or melted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Brush the top of each pizza bomb with the mixture.
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling inside.
- Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with warm pizza sauce for dipping
