  • 1 package pie crusts (2 crusts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  3. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  4. Pour the cherry mixture into the crust and dot with butter.
  5. Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the filling. Seal and flute the edges.
  6. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
