- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and brown them on all sides.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Add onions, carrots, and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Add mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and pour in the chicken broth.
- Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
