- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Make the Chicken Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and mix well.
Step 3: Stuff the Crescent Rolls
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Add a spoonful of the chicken mixture to the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each triangle and place them seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
Step 4: Prepare the Creamy Sauce
- In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, mozzarella cheese, paprika, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
- Pour this sauce evenly over the rolled-up crescent rolls.
Step 5: Bake & Serve
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
- Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving
Notes
✅ Use Rotisserie Chicken – It saves time and adds great flavor.
✅ Don’t Overfill – Overstuffing the rolls may cause them to burst.
✅ Brush with Butter – For an extra golden crust, brush the rolls with melted butter before baking.
✅ Add Extra Cheese – Sprinkle extra shredded cheese on top for a cheesier dish.
✅ Reheat Properly – Warm leftovers in a 350°F (175°C) oven to maintain texture.
