Make this easy Chicken Crescent Bake Recipe in just 35 minutes! Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor—perfect for a cozy dinner

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken Crescent Rolls:

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1 (8-ounce) package crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the Creamy Cheese Sauce:

  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Make the Chicken Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and mix well.

Step 3: Stuff the Crescent Rolls

  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Add a spoonful of the chicken mixture to the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle and place them seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.

Step 4: Prepare the Creamy Sauce

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, mozzarella cheese, paprika, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  • Pour this sauce evenly over the rolled-up crescent rolls.

Step 5: Bake & Serve

  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
  • Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving

Notes

Use Rotisserie Chicken – It saves time and adds great flavor.
Don’t Overfill – Overstuffing the rolls may cause them to burst.
Brush with Butter – For an extra golden crust, brush the rolls with melted butter before baking.
Add Extra Cheese – Sprinkle extra shredded cheese on top for a cheesier dish.
Reheat Properly – Warm leftovers in a 350°F (175°C) oven to maintain texture.
