- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Instructions
- Prep ingredients by cutting the beef and chopping the vegetables.
- Optional: Sear the beef in a skillet for extra flavor.
- Add beef, vegetables, garlic, and seasonings to the slow cooker.
- Pour in beef broth and add tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken.
- Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
