Instructions
- Prepare the Cucumbers: Slice the cucumber into ¼-inch thick rounds and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Season the Shrimp: If using pre-cooked shrimp, pat them dry. For extra flavor, toss with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. If using raw shrimp, sauté in a pan for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Make the Creamy Topping: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Assemble the Appetizers: Spread a small amount of the creamy topping onto each cucumber slice, place a shrimp on top, and garnish with dill and chives.
- Serve & Enjoy: Arrange on a serving platter and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh shrimp, cucumbers, and herbs enhance the flavor.
- Pat Dry Everything: Excess moisture can make cucumbers soggy.
- Adjust the Spice Level: Add sriracha or jalapeños for extra heat.
- Serve Chilled: Let the appetizers rest in the fridge for 15 minutes before serving.
- Experiment with Toppings: Try different sauces and garnishes to match your taste preferences.
