A delicious and easy-to-make shrimp scampi recipe inspired by the famous Red Lobster dish.

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Pour in the white wine or chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Fresh herbs can be substituted with dried herbs if necessary.
- Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
