Scale
- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced

- 2 tablespoons butter (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

- Add Cabbage – Stir in chopped cabbage and mix well with the bacon grease. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook Until Tender – Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender yet slightly crispy.
- Combine with Bacon – Add crispy bacon back to the pan, mix well, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve Hot – Taste, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use smoked bacon for extra depth of flavor.
- Don’t overcook the cabbage to keep a slight crunch.
- Add a splash of apple cider vinegar for a tangy twist.
- For a spicier version, increase the red pepper flakes.
