- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup marinara sauce (low carb)
- 1/2 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped bell peppers, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- In a baking dish, layer the cooked beef mixture, marinara sauce, and pepperoni slices.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite low carb vegetables.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños or red pepper flakes.
