Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. In a blender, combine the peaches, cooled sugar syrup, and lemon juice.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours.
  6. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals.
  7. Once fully frozen, scoop and serve the sorbet.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, use an ice cream maker.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on the ripeness of the peaches.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
