- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups pretzel crumbs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix the flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs.
- In a third dish, place the pretzel crumbs.
- Dip each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally coat with pretzel crumbs.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray the chicken with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- While the chicken is baking, mix honey and Dijon mustard in a small bowl to make the sauce.
- Serve the chicken hot with the honey mustard sauce on the side.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of honey and mustard in the sauce to your taste.
