- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter. Mix until the crackers are well coated.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cracker topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
