- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers

Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Sausage
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground sausage and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain any excess grease and set aside.
Step 2: Melt the Cheese
- In a saucepan or slow cooker, add Velveeta cheese and cream cheese.
- Stir over low heat until the cheese is melted and smooth.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
- Stir in the Rotel tomatoes, cooked sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- If using optional ingredients like jalapeños or bell peppers, stir them in now.
Step 4: Simmer and Serve
- Let the dip cook on low heat for an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer to a serving bowl or keep warm in a slow cooker.
