- 1 can (14.75 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the salmon patties to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Notes
- Serve with a side salad or on a bun as a sandwich.
- Leftover patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Feel free to add herbs or spices to customize the flavor.
