- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 cup queso cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the sliced flank steak with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the seasoned steak to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice and queso cheese sauce, stirring until well mixed.
- Gently fold in the cooked steak and diced tomatoes into the rice mixture.
- Serve the steak and queso rice in bowls, garnished with chopped cilantro if desired. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for added flavor.

- Feel free to adjust the spices according to your taste.
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
