These steakhouse garlic butter mushrooms are rich, garlicky, and buttery—perfect with steak, pasta, or as a mouthwatering appetizer!
Ingredients

1½ lbs cremini or white button mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

5 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (or ½ tsp dried)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Splash of white wine or balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Prep mushrooms: Clean and trim mushrooms. Halve or quarter large ones.

Heat pan: In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter with olive oil over medium-high heat.

Sauté mushrooms: Add mushrooms in a single layer. Cook undisturbed for 3–4 minutes, then stir and cook another 5–6 minutes until golden brown.

Add garlic and herbs: Reduce heat to medium. Stir in garlic, thyme, and remaining butter. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Finish with umami boost: Add soy sauce or Worcestershire and stir to coat.

Season and serve: Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Don’t overcrowd the skillet—cook in batches if needed for better browning.
