Description
Try these Chicken Alfredo Lasagna Roll Ups for a creamy, cheesy twist on lasagna! Easy to make, family-friendly, and absolutely delicious.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 dry lasagna noodles (cooked al dente)
- 15 ounces Alfredo sauce (1 jar)
- 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray and spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine half of the Alfredo sauce, shredded chicken, ½ cup mozzarella, ¼ cup Parmesan, garlic powder, lemon zest, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
- Lay each noodle flat on a clean surface. Spread an even amount of the chicken mixture over each noodle, then roll tightly.
- Arrange the roll-ups seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the roll-ups and sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Optional: Broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispy cheese.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
✔ Use fresh mozzarella and Parmesan for better melting and flavor.
✔ Don’t overcook the lasagna noodles – they should be slightly firm.
✔ Make ahead – Assemble the roll-ups, refrigerate overnight, and bake when ready.
✔ Try different proteins – Swap chicken with turkey, ham, or shrimp for variety.
✔ For a lighter version, use a low-fat Alfredo sauce and part-skim cheese.
