Ingredients
Scale
For the Base and Top Layers:
- 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3–4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. - Prepare the Base Layer:
Roll out one can of crescent rolls and press it into the bottom of the baking dish. Seal the seams tightly to form a smooth base. - Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, 1 cup granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. - Spread the Filling:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base using a spatula. - Add the Top Layer:
Roll out the second can of crescent rolls and carefully place it over the cream cheese layer. Seal the seams and gently press down to secure the dough. - Add the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
In a bowl, mix 3–4 tablespoons granulated sugar with 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Drizzle the melted butter over the top crescent roll layer and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously on top. - Bake:
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the butter is mostly absorbed. - Cool:
Allow the bars to cool on a wire rack before slicing into squares. This step helps the layers set for cleaner cuts.
