Description

Learn how to make Crescent Cheesecake Bars in just 40 minutes! A perfect dessert with creamy filling, flaky crust, and sweet topping.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Base and Top Layers:

  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the Base Layer:
Roll out one can of crescent rolls and press it into the bottom of the baking dish. Seal the seams tightly to form a smooth base.
  • Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, 1 cup granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread the Filling:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base using a spatula.
  • Add the Top Layer:
Roll out the second can of crescent rolls and carefully place it over the cream cheese layer. Seal the seams and gently press down to secure the dough.
  • Add the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
In a bowl, mix 3–4 tablespoons granulated sugar with 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Drizzle the melted butter over the top crescent roll layer and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously on top.
  • Bake:
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the butter is mostly absorbed.
  • Cool:
Allow the bars to cool on a wire rack before slicing into squares. This step helps the layers set for cleaner cuts.
