- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: Chopped parsley, ranch dressing, or marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked.
- Drain any excess fat and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Dough:
- Separate the biscuit dough into individual pieces.
- Flatten each piece into a circle about 3 inches in diameter.
- Assemble the Bombs:
- Place a spoonful of cooked ground beef in the center of each dough circle.
- Top with a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese and a sprinkle of crumbled bacon.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
- Add the Garlic Parmesan Coating:
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Roll each dough ball in the mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Bake to Perfection:
- Place the coated bombs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Remove the bombs from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce
Notes
- Use High-Quality Ingredients: Fresh garlic, real Parmesan, and thick-cut bacon enhance the flavor.
- Don’t Overfill the Dough: Too much filling can cause the bombs to burst open during baking.
- Experiment with Cheese: Try mozzarella, pepper jack, or a blend for different flavors.
- Make Them Ahead: Assemble the bombs and refrigerate them for up to 24 hours before baking.
- Add a Dipping Sauce: Ranch dressing, marinara sauce, or spicy aioli pair perfectly with these bombs.
- Customize the Filling: Add sautéed onions, mushrooms, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Serve Immediately: These bombs are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven while the cheese is still gooey.
