- 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 rolls)
- 8 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (or 6 breakfast sausage patties)
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (or Swiss, American, or Pepper Jack)

For the Glaze:
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the eggs: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble in a nonstick pan over medium heat until just set.
- Cook the bacon or sausage: Cook until crispy, then drain excess grease and set aside.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
- Assemble the sliders:
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Layer with cheese, scrambled eggs, and cooked bacon or sausage.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Make the glaze: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
- Brush the glaze evenly over the sliders.
- Bake covered with foil for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, let the rolls brown a little longer.
- Use fresh Hawaiian rolls for the best texture.
- Add a spicy kick with jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce.
- Make-ahead option: Assemble the night before and bake in the morning.
- Swap the cheese for smoked gouda, mozzarella, or Swiss for variety.
