  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or parsley, chopped

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Salmon

  • If using fresh salmon, cook it in a pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, then flake it with a fork.
  • If using canned salmon, drain it well and remove any large bones if desired.

2️⃣ Mix the Patty Ingredients

  1. In a large bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, parsley, onion, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix until well combined. If the mixture feels too wet, add a little more breadcrumbs.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties, about ½ inch thick.

3️⃣ Cook the Salmon Patties

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
